Kitchen Sink

We now have our kitchen sink installed so we don't have to make the coffee in the classrooms. Thank you Jesus.

We now also have a ladies prayer service on Tuesday's at 2pm. Please join us if you can. We are praying for all drug dealers in Polk, Cherokee and Fannin Counties to be saved. We need you to pray with us.

Our classes are Anger Management and Insight. Thursday night's at 7pm. We would love to have you, everyone who is anyone could use these classes

Update

I cannot believe how time has flows and I have not posted. I have a new kitchen floor in the ministry house. We have new paint on the outside, roof and inside.

We are in the process of having our sink put back in the kitchen.

We are now having a ladies ministry on Tuesday afternoons at 2 pm. Please feel free to come join us.

Our mission is to see all drug dealers in Polk, Cherokee and Fannin Counties, saved with the Holy Spirit flowing through them. Then we want all addicts and alcoholics saved. Quite a mission statement, but our God is Able. Our God is Able.......................

Eagle Ranch

Eagle Ranch has had 30 workers at the Ministry House on Monday, 15 workers today. They have painted the complete outside, painted the tin roof with sealant and have almost finished reflooring the kitchen. I praise God for Eagle Rance and all the help we have received

Ministry House

Work is to start Monday on the kitchen floor, it will be replaced completely and I am so excited I can't hardly stand myself. I just need to go find the cheapest good linoleum that will cover the kitchen and living room that will eventually be our Thrift Store to enable us with the money to pay our monthly bills. Thank you Jesus,

Praise the Lord

Eagle Ranch, a local ministry has agreed to fix our kitchen floor, and that means a new kitchen floor, paint and seal the metal roof and possible a new outside paint job. This is so wonderful that all I do is walk around smiling and Praising the Lord. Thank you Jesus, and Eagle Ranch......

Work Day

Our work day has been cancelled this weekend. Cleveland, needs our help more today and we can minister to so many people just taking a bag of ice, drinks and sandwich makings.

God Bless all the survivors of the storms and their families. Bless them Lord to find you and their strength through this.

Volunteer Work Day

Friday and Saturday, April 29 & 30, 2011 has been designated work days at the Ministry House. We are going to see what needs to be done for the floor in the kitchen area and getting things ready for our Yard Sale.

Thrift Store

Our ministry is collecting items to start our own Thrift Store to enable us to purchase our Study Books and Bibles. Our tentative date is to open the first weekend in May. So keep us in mind when you want or need to get out and yard sale..............God Bless each of you

This Week

Water is in. I have a almost new refrigerator donated to the ministry and I am so excited. My brother and his son are going to put new flooring in the kitchen, (with all the volunteers) we can get, and I Praise the Lord for His Goodness and Mercy......................

Healing Time

I am hoping to get water on tomorrow so I can have a class tomorrow night. If anyone has a prayer request, please let me know.

I have had many volunteers to work on the Ministry House, so all is good. Thank you for your prayers and support.

Prayers Needed

I have been downhearted lately, so no blog update. No water yet. And now I have found that all the floor joists, (whatever) are rotten and will have to be replaced before any new flooring can be installed. I have prayed for the Lord to heal this house, and I know he hears my prayers.

Maybe this is just not his plan right now, and I know I am the most impatient person on earth. Hands down, no argument.

I just have a vision for this house to be the refuge house for the community that young and old people who need to talk and pray can come here and find God. I just know that this house is meant for this. So, after all that, please help me pray. Please.....................

Meeting

Tonight we were on Session 3, Just what Makes You Angry. You know anger is God given, we all get angry and have people in our lives that make us angry. So your homework is "What Makes You Angry and Why?????????????

Thursday Meeting

As you can see I'm too busy to blog, but here's the latest. Last Thursday I had 4 students at my Anger Management Meeting. This is up 3 from the previous Thursday. Praise be to the Living King.

Painting Time

The paint has been purchased and will be on the walls by this weekend. Randy Collins is working on the water so that should be complete by late tomorrow. Everything is going good and I Praise God for Blessing Me with this Ministry.

Covenant with God

Last week, you will remember I said I had kinda promised God I would do something. Well yesterday at church, while I was reading a portion of our Sunday School less I was reminded that you don't kinda promise God. You either do it or you don't, but never tell him you might. That is like telling the wind to kinda blow. I was so blessed at church yesterday and had a prophetic message given to me that this ministry would flourish under the hand of God. God never does anything halfway, he does it.

Saturday is supposed to be cold again, but I plan to work inside the house anyway. If you want to help just show up between 11 and noon.

Still hoping

I have talked with the Lord this week, and I told him I would have my first class on February 3rd, which is the first Thursday of the month. I know we cannot work there tomorrow, but I am planning a work day next Saturday, January 22. Hopefully you can all join me.

I will have curtains for the windows, and cleaning products. Just needs some warm bodies to show up around 11:30 to 12 noon.

I have kinda promised the Lord I would do this, so I am believing this is going to happen. Please join me in prayer........ Thanks..................

Snow and Ice

I had planned to get work done this week on our Ministry House, but the weather is working against us. If the snow and ice that is being forecast for us this week, we will be stuck in our own houses trying to keep warm. My heater is going full blast right now.

My friend Jessie lost her brother last night. Let's keep her and her brothers and sisters in our prayers this next few days. God Bless you Jessie..............

Hopefully we will be able to get back to work on the house later this week or early next. I will keep you posted. I am hoping to have our first class the first Thursday in February, with the help of the Lord this will happen. Thank you Jesus for Blessings...................

Today has not been a good day to work on our Ministry House. Hopefully the sun will shine again next week and we can get a volunteer to go under the house to check the pipes so we can get water from the road to the house. Then let the cleaning begin. Thank you Jesus for Blessing our community with this house. All Blessings and Honor to You, Lord Jesus.................

The old carpet has been removed; Melitte and Harold did this on Monday. We are now ready for volunteers for paint and rollers and brushes. If the Lord puts it on your heart to help, please do. Everything in our Free to Live Ministry House is on a voluntary basis. We need your help. God needs your help.

New Year

Today is the first day of our new year 2011. I am very close to opening our own Teaching Ministry in Polk County. I have my signs, my flyers and books ready to start. Just need to do the cleaning of our house. It is on Hwy 123 just off Hwy 68 in Turtletown, 2nd house on the left.

Our classes will be on Thursday at 7:00 pm. Hope you can come early and let's get to know each other. Friends helping friends. Our first classes are,
